Founder, Howard Cooler, is a Certified General Appraiser and has been well respected in his 45+ years in the industry. Howard began in the county assessors office before working 33 years as an appraiser for AgSouth Farm Credit. He retired from AgSouth in 2012 and established CREA, LLC in 2013. In May 2021, Sumner Cooler, Howard's son, joined the team. Sumner has recently obtained his Certified General Appraiser certification in May 2026. Sumner has brought a new sense of urgency, dependability and technological advancement to the business. Together, they bring expertise and dedication to every appraisal assignment. Howard’s expertise is in agricultural land, which includes broiler farms, irrigated (as well as non-irrigated) cropland, and timber tracts. Sumner’s expertise is all residential, which includes rural residential, single family, multi-family, and large dwellings with acreage and amenities. Together they tackle any and all commercial assignments that come their way. Types of commercial include retail, general commercial, manufacturing facilities, and more.
